I have taken many different types of photos but these may be the hardest. I'm not very used to sitting in the same spot for hours at a time try to capture specific gestures and mannerism's of a person. Not to mention the fact that there is no background or real setting which brings up questions like, "how do I make a microphone or a water bottle look interesting?" But its all part of the process, it helps a lot with your patience as a photographer

These photos were tricky, I have never shot anything like this before. It's a club that operates very precisely, there's so little yet so much going on. It was hard to feel as if I wasn't getting in their way so I created a solution, I strapped on my 200mm lens and stood in the corner so nobody could recognize I was taking photos of them to get the full candid nature of the shots. Im very happy with how they turned out considering it seems as if nobody even noticed the camera.

These photos were actually unintentional. I was attending the field trip for my freshman assist class when somebody asked if I could take photos for the story. So we found a camera and were able to make these quick captures without wasting any time and still having loads of fun on the trip itself. The candid nature makes it a lot easier for everyone involved including me. It makes for the best possible shots that can be used.
Issue 1
This was my first official photoshoot for the class. It hadn't been very long since I just started the class and I was a little nervous, I didn't know what to expect. Ive only shot for myself and I wasn't exactly sure what the best kind of shots would be for the newspaper so I took as wide of a range of shots as I could from a wide range of positions. I was very happy with the results considering the amount of emotion that was captured during the event.
